Man I need literal help. This my first time using this dam software. I posted to Instagram and the video was way small. Didn’t even fit the screen. I got a whole 100 line project going and this isn’t working for me of what you’re talking about. Everything sites up and isn’t how I created it 😵‍💫

Thank you for posting this, I couldn't find the answer to this anywhere else online. Resolves system for animation is very unintuitive and limited. For one, there's no indication of exactly what channel within the 'Keyframes' window controls which parameter in any of the other tabs. You would think adding a little red diamond next to each parameter that is keyframeable would solve this confusion. Another thing that's frustrating, is that even though the keyframes are dynamic, it doesn't update the gain value (for example) in the value field, so you have no idea what the actual value is on any given frame in-between. The only way to find out is to set another dynamic keyframe for it to give you the value. And the most ridiculous thing about keyframes in the color timeline, is that you can't copy & paste keyframes! This seems ludicrous to me, but the only way to transfer values between frames is to edit every single value manually. I've seen posts complaining about this in their forums that are 10 years old. Absolutely blows my mind.

This is going to be a bit of a distracted fly-by comment, but as I've been diving through different tutorials getting the hang of resolve, you're one of the few tutorial-ers I've watched so far that isn't obnoxious in their presentation. Most tutorial makers for resolve over-edit to hell and are also apparently trying to side-job as an over-the-top radio host. I thank and appreciate you for talking like a normal human being. 🙏

What do I do if I have a 5 second long Media In and a 30 second one, but they both need to be active? How do I loop the shorter Media In?

Cannot automate reverb for some incredibly annoying reason. (I noticed you did echo in this tutorial, I watched this entire tutorial more than once and still can't get wet/dry to properly record). This is something in general that feels very restrictive and annoying in Fairlight. I get the power of automations, it's evident. But frankly I'm tearing my hair out to get wet/dry control knob to work, when I can split the track, cross fade it, control the how the cross fade works, and get this done in seconds when I've been over all the automation settings multiple times and still can't get it to work. I don't get why keyframing isn't also possible. Yes, automations are more powerful, but frankly I don't need that level of granular power for every change I want to do.

how to remove uuuuhhhhs and aaaahh which are not detected? or is there any way to delete everything but full words?

OMG thank you so much! I literally just got to add my last clip in to my first ever youtube video and nearly had a heart attack when I saw that the files had disappeared. I watched another video and it didn't even mention the first option which brought all the video back in. One happy newbie here.

Hi Jay, I just updated to 4K and this no longer saves my fusion properly. If I close the project and then re-open it, all the bits are out of place and seem to be magnified. Most of what I see is offscreen. Any idea what might be happening? Cheers

Is there any option nowadays to have auto marks for voice on audio? to know when a sentence starts and ends?

How to fix this: I have no icon for Transcribe under Media Pool. I must right click to pick Transcribe from menu.

They removed being able to customize the workspace completely, being able to shift panels around, that was a huge downgrade from V9 to V17.

I suppose deleting the render cache solved the offline problem, but that's just the fix. What is the root of this issue? I now have to rerender proxies for a 30 minute clip and it says it will take 8 hours! FCPX renders this in 15 minutes?

Didn't work - what's great is i had i working in the past with nvidia broadcast, now, nope. I don't understand how Audacity gets this simple thing so right, and resolve takes a extremely simple task (choosing a mic input) and makes it complicated.

The only thing I searched was how to ripple delete without deleting all silence parts. This question wasn't answered ... Okay, got it from another video: Just activate trim mode before deleting text. That's it.

Not sure if you still look at these comments but I was wondering if you knew how to make sure it starts with movement instead of starting flat and ending with movement and/or animate it so that you can choose where the particles are? Also, at some point in the timeline the particles just disappear, would you know of a way to fix that?

one thing... if you take an obs video 100fps (gameplay) and you wonna add it to davinci you dont have the option for 100fps max you have is 60fps. And if you convert it - its a bit laggie at the end and if you upload it to like youtube (50fps) its a crap... do you hove the Idea to solve it? After record with obs its all fine but after you try to add it or upload its became crap laggie...

Is there a way to copy and paste a fusion composition to another timeline, without getting "media offline" on the new project? The assets show in the media pool but they are offline in fusion where they are working on the other project just fine. I want to copy and paste an entire project into a new one to re-edit for a different aspect ratio video, but all of my fusion comps are "media offline"
